The creation of autonomous academic communities able to investigate and encourage spaces of epistemological reflection about electronics, pedagogy and educational technology should be the reflection of independence and conceptual autonomy.
The specific nature of the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional and the Department of Technology described in its mission and vision, the analysis of the history and trends of social change, align research as the road of construction and transformation of knowledge in pedagogy and technology by designing pedagogical models for technological development in the productive context and the educational and cultural spheres, and as well, of the design of technological prototypes in order to give answer to needs in the educational, cultural and productive context.
