The curriculum of the Bachelor’s Degree in Biology is designed as a project for educational and research evaluation of this training program. First, it is assumed as formative research in related academic processes; the second corresponds to the research processes that allow self-regulation to improve the quality of education.
The training program of Bachelor of Biology seeks the integral human development, thus requires a set of actions on issues related to intellectual, moral and ethical, political-ideological, professional, educational, aesthetic and playful to the affective and communicative. Therefore, through the interaction of teachers and students it is desired to:
|-||Contribute in the training of educators in biology with critical thinking, enabling them to generate processes of constructive dialogic interaction with their students and population groups with whom they interact.|
|-||Undertake actions to achieve integral human development attending to the ontological, deontological and axiological levels.|
|-||Contribute to the recognition of the potentialities of the other ones and a multicultural society, so that the social construction of knowledge is also made ??possible.|
|-||Build pedagogies designed to investigate the importance of life and living things- in the human thought, as much in scientific and cultural, and also in the spiritual thought.|
|-||Build and appropriate pedagogical discourses consequent with the developments of knowledge and educational activities.|
|-||Promote opportunities for the development of educational and research projects coordinated with social reality, which also contribute to the teachability of biology.|
|-||Contribute to the development of skills, attitudes and values ??that seek to foster appreciation and respect for nature.|
|-||Plan, design, implement, manage, evaluate and disseminate educational and research projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the educational communities.|
Contribute to the formation of a Biology teacher that undertake educational activities aimed at learning to be and learning to live together in an atmosphere of tolerance and peace.
Develop awareness of respect and proper management of the environment, generating attitudes of appraisal and appreciation of nature in the educational community, as well as collaborate in identifying the role played by human communities as part of nature.
